Good Times at the Pumpkin Patch

Henley and I had some more fun travels this weekend. My friend Courtney's little boy, Will, had his first birthday party at a pumpkin patch in Nashville. It was so fun getting to visit with old friends and their kids. Of course, Henley got hungry the minute we got to the party, so I missed the opening of the presents, the cutting of the cake, and pretty much the whole party. But, we still got to enjoy some good company and delicious food.

These are my old roommates Lyla and Courtney with their sweet kids.
Times have changed quite a bit from our college days. I miss seeing these girls so much!

The birthday boy and his Mommy
Will is really enjoying his party food!
We even got to see our good friends-- Virginia and Henry Huddleston
Aren't they the cutest pumpkins you have ever seen?
We got to stay with Lyla and her TWO girls, Lilly and Mamie. It was fun and crazy with a house full of girls! Lilly was my big helper getting Henley ready for the party.
Hopefully, we can all get together again soon!

It meant so much having you there for Will's 1st Birthday - I miss you so much, why can't we all live in the SAME PLACE???? How much fun would we have! Love you!!!!

Very cute pictures! You are a glowing new mom! Are you doing all this travelling by yourself? You are way more calm than I ever was!

What good photos. You look amazing. You're way too hard on yourself. I'm sad I wasn't there. Hope to see you soon.

It's so funny reading your blog since are little ones are so close in age . . we just did the shots too, it was miserable! (more so for me than her I think) And we have the same play mat - which she loves! And I think we even have the same stroller (the green Peg Perego)! And I feel you on the daddy's little girl thing . . everyone keeps calling Mckinley "a little Trent". I guess I just always assumed a girl would look like more like me . . .

It looks like you had a great time in Nashville - everyone looks too cute. I'm so glad you guys are doing so well! Henley is just adorable!

Glad y'all had so much fun. I know how you feel when it comes to getting somewhere and then having to leave to go fill a tummy up. For at least the first six months, Brooks would want to eat every time we went somewhere. I was always leaving to go to a car, a bathroom, or another room.
