Henley at 9 months

This is the face Henley wakes up with almost every morning. She is SO happy all the time right now, and she is constantly smiling. Everywhere we go people comment on what a happy baby she is and how much she smiles.  The best part about this face is the snorting sound she makes as she squishes up her nose and flashes a HUGE gummy smile. Henley still has no teeth, but I hear this just makes for stronger baby teeth. I think people just tell me this so I won't worry that my child is abnormal. Does this apply to hair too?

Henley is very inquisitive (as seen from the above photo). She studies everything very intensely and mostly with her pointer finger.  She reminds me of E.T. --it's really cute.  
Oh, but she can be a little stinker too.  She will last about 10-15 minutes max on the floor, so therefore H is mobility challenged.  She wants to be held at all times and I just can't resist her pitiful little face. What a sucker I am.     

We are really enjoying this age, because Henley's spunky personality is coming out.  She waves bye-bye and speaks jibberish ALL the time.  She has the sweetest voice even when it is a high pitched squeal in public.  She loves attention and will stare strangers down until they finally acknowledge her presence.  It can be embarrassing if the strangers aren't really into babies no matter how cute they are.  She is such a little character, well that is what LuLu says all the time.

Henley changes so much everyday and we look forward to her new faces, walking, words, a tooth or two, and possibly even some hair.
